5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.
- Insert 2 x 1.5V AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
The device will automatically begin searching for the radio-controlled time signal. This process may take several minutes.
5.2 Initial Radio Signal Reception
Place the alarm clock near a window for optimal signal reception. Avoid placing it near electronic devices that may cause interference. Once the signal is received, the time, date, and day of the week will be automatically set.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Setting Time Manually (if radio signal is unavailable)
- Press and hold the SET button (located on the right side) until the time display flashes.
- Use the UP and DOWN buttons (also on the right side) to adjust the hour, then press SET to confirm.
- Repeat for minutes, year, month, and day.
- Press SET again to exit manual setting mode.
6.2 Setting the Alarm
- Press the ALARM button (refer to device for exact button label, typically one of the right-side buttons) to enter alarm setting mode.
- Use UP and DOWN to set the desired alarm time.
- Press ALARM to confirm.
- Activate or deactivate the alarm using the dedicated alarm ON/OFF switch or button. An alarm icon will appear on the display when active.
6.3 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (often the top button on the right side, or any button on top of the device) to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 5-10 minutes.
