Main Components:
- Temperature Control Knob: Used to adjust the desired water temperature.
- Heating Indicator Light: Illuminates when the water heater is actively heating water.
- Water Inlet/Outlet Connections: Located at the top for under-sink installation.
4. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure you have all necessary tools and components. Screws and a power plug are not included and must be purchased separately.
4.1. Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify that the installation location is suitable for an under-sink unit, with adequate space and ventilation.
- Ensure the wall or cabinet structure can support the weight of the water heater when full (approximately 17 kg).
- Confirm that water and electrical connections are accessible and meet local codes.
4.2. Mounting the Water Heater
- Mark the drilling points on the wall using the provided wall mounting bracket as a template.
- Drill holes and insert appropriate wall plugs (not supplied).
- Securely fasten the mounting bracket to the wall.
- Hang the water heater onto the bracket, ensuring it is level and stable.

4.3. Water Connections
- Connect the cold water inlet (blue ring) to the main cold water supply using appropriate plumbing fittings.
- Connect the hot water outlet (red ring) to the hot water tap.
- Install a safety relief valve on the cold water inlet, as required by local regulations.
- Ensure all connections are watertight.
4.4. Electrical Connection
- The water heater requires a dedicated electrical circuit.
- Connect the electrical wiring to a suitable power plug (not supplied) and a grounded outlet.
- Ensure the electrical connection is made by a qualified electrician and complies with all local electrical codes.
4.5. Filling the Water Heater
- Before connecting to power, open a hot water tap in your sink.
- Open the cold water supply valve to the water heater.
- Allow water to flow from the hot water tap until all air is purged from the tank and a steady stream of water emerges.
- Close the hot water tap. The water heater is now full.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On
Once the water heater is filled with water and all connections are secure, plug the unit into the electrical outlet. The heating indicator light will illuminate if the water temperature is below the set point.
5.2. Temperature Adjustment
Rotate the temperature control knob on the front of the unit to set the desired water temperature. Turning the knob towards 'MAX' will increase the temperature. The water heater will automatically heat the water to the set temperature and maintain it.
5.3. Heating Cycle
The heating indicator light will remain on while the water heater is actively heating. Once the set temperature is reached, the light will turn off, indicating that the heating cycle is complete. The light will cycle on and off as the unit maintains the water temperature.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your water heater.
6.1. Regular Checks
- Periodically inspect the water heater for any signs of leaks, corrosion, or damage.
- Check the safety relief valve for proper operation at least once a year by manually opening it briefly to ensure water flows out.
6.2. Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can accumulate inside the tank and on the heating element, reducing efficiency. Descaling should be performed by a qualified technician every 1-2 years, depending on water hardness.
6.3. Cleaning
Clean the exterior of the water heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
7. Troubleshooting
Refer to this section for common issues and their potential solutions.
