5. Setup
5.1 Initial Placement
Place the dehumidifier in an upright position on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around all sides of the unit to allow for proper airflow.
5.2 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. The unit is now ready for operation.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Control Panel
The control panel features intuitive buttons and indicator lights:
- ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
- Humidity Level/Mode Button: Cycles through desired humidity levels (e.g., 3 levels) or special modes like Laundry.
- Full Tank Indicator: Illuminates when the water tank is full and needs emptying.
- Defrost Indicator: Illuminates if the unit is defrosting.
6.2 Dehumidification Modes
Press the Humidity Level/Mode button to select your desired operation:
- Standard Dehumidification: The unit will operate to reach and maintain the selected humidity level.
- Laundry Function: This setting optimizes ventilation speed and dehumidifying capacity to help speed up laundry drying. Place the dehumidifier in a small, enclosed room with your drying clothes for best results.
6.3 Water Tank Management
When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating and the 'Full Tank' indicator light will illuminate. Carefully remove the tank, empty the collected water, and reinsert it firmly until it clicks into place. The unit will resume operation.
6.4 Continuous Drainage
For continuous operation without needing to empty the tank, you can set up continuous drainage:
- Locate the continuous drainage outlet at the back of the unit.
- Remove the small bung or cap covering the outlet.
- Connect the supplied drainage hose to the outlet, ensuring a secure fit.
- Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain or larger container, ensuring the hose is sloped downwards to allow water to flow by gravity.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.
7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed) to maintain efficiency and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the dehumidifier.
- Locate the air filter cover on the side/back of the unit.
- Open the cover and carefully remove the filter.
- Clean the filter using a vacuum cleaner to remove dust. For heavy dirt, wash it gently with lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to dry completely before reinserting it.
- Close the filter cover securely.

7.2 Emptying the Water Tank
As described in section 6.3, empty the water tank when the indicator light illuminates. Clean the tank periodically with mild soap and water to prevent mould or bacterial growth.
7.3 Storage
If storing the unit for an extended period:
- Empty and clean the water tank.
- Clean the air filter.
- Ensure the unit is completely dry inside before storing.
- Store in an upright position in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
