1. Product Overview

The LyxPro SPA-15 is a 15-inch active PA speaker system designed for versatile audio applications. It features integrated Bluetooth connectivity, an MP3 player with USB and SD card slots, and multiple input options for microphones, line-level devices, and auxiliary sources. The system includes an equalizer for sound adjustment and a mix output for linking additional speakers.

4. Controls and Connections

The rear panel of the LyxPro SPA-15 provides all necessary controls and input/output connections for operation.

• USB/SD MP3 Digital Player: For playing audio files from USB drives or SD cards. Includes mode, play/pause, skip, and repeat controls.
• Volume 1 (Mic/Line Input): Controls the volume for the XLR and 1/4" inputs.
• Mic/Line Input (XLR & 1/4"): Connect microphones or line-level instruments.
• Volume 2 (Line Input/AUX): Controls the volume for the RCA and 3.5mm AUX inputs.
• Line Input (RCA & 3.5mm AUX): Connect external audio devices like phones, tablets, or mixers.
• Mix Out (XLR): Output for connecting to another powered speaker or mixer.
• Equalizer: Separate knobs for adjusting Treble and Bass frequencies.
• MP3 Volume: Controls the volume specifically for the integrated MP3 player (Bluetooth, USB, SD).

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

1. Ensure the Power Switch is in the OFF position.
2. Connect the supplied AC power cable to the AC Input on the rear panel of the speaker.
3. Plug the other end of the AC power cable into a suitable electrical outlet.

5.2 Mounting the Speaker

The LyxPro SPA-15 can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a standard speaker stand using the integrated stand mount.

1. If using a speaker stand, ensure it is stable and rated to support the weight of the SPA-15 (35 lbs).
2. Carefully lift the speaker and place it onto the stand pole.
3. Secure the speaker to the stand using the tightening screw on the stand mount.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

1. To power on, flip the Power Switch to the ON position. The power indicator light will illuminate.
2. To power off, flip the Power Switch to the OFF position.

6.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Turn on the speaker. The digital display will show 'BLUE' and the Bluetooth symbol will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for available Bluetooth devices.
3. Select 'LyxPro SPA-15' from the list.
4. Once connected, the Bluetooth symbol on the speaker's display will stop flashing and remain solid.
5. Adjust the MP3 Volume knob on the speaker and the volume on your device for desired sound level.

6.3 USB/SD Card Playback

1. Insert a USB drive or SD card containing MP3 audio files into the respective slot on the rear panel.
2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playback. If not, press the 'MODE' button to select USB or SD.
3. Use the play/pause, skip forward/backward buttons on the digital player or remote control to manage playback.
4. Adjust the MP3 Volume knob for desired sound level.

6.4 Connecting External Devices

• Microphones/Instruments: Connect via the XLR or 1/4" Mic/Line Input. Adjust Volume 1.
• Line-Level Devices (Mixers, CD Players): Connect via the RCA or 3.5mm AUX Line Input. Adjust Volume 2.

6.5 Linking Multiple Speakers

To expand your sound system, you can connect the SPA-15 to other active or passive speakers using the Mix Out (XLR) port.

1. Connect an XLR cable from the Mix Out of the primary SPA-15 speaker to the XLR Line Input of a secondary active speaker.
2. For passive speakers, connect the Mix Out to a suitable power amplifier, which then connects to the passive speaker.
3. Adjust volumes on both speakers as needed.

6.6 Adjusting Sound (Equalizer)

Use the Equalizer knobs on the rear panel to fine-tune the audio output:

• Treble: Adjusts the high-frequency response. Turn clockwise to increase treble, counter-clockwise to decrease.
• Bass: Adjusts the low-frequency response. Turn clockwise to increase bass, counter-clockwise to decrease.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Ventilation: Ensure ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating.
• Cables: Regularly check all cables for damage and replace if necessary.
