3. Assembly and Initial Setup

4. Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off:

Using the Vacuum:

  1. Recline the Vacuum: Place your foot on the cleaner head and pull the handle back to recline the vacuum into the cleaning position.
  2. Maneuvering: The Dyson Ball technology allows for easy steering around furniture and obstacles with a simple twist of the wrist.
  3. Self-Adjusting Cleaner Head: The cleaner head automatically adjusts to different floor types, ensuring optimal suction from carpets to hard floors.
  4. Using the Wand/Hose: To use the wand and hose for above-floor cleaning, pull the wand release catch and lift the wand clear of the vacuum body. Attach desired tools.

Emptying the Dust Bin:

  1. Ensure the vacuum is unplugged.
  2. Press the red bin release button located on the top of the cyclone assembly.
  3. Hold the bin over a trash receptacle and press the red bin empty button to release the bottom flap and empty contents.
  4. Close the bin flap securely until it clicks. Reattach the bin to the vacuum.

Washing the HEPA Filter:

The HEPA filter should be washed with cold water at least every 3 months, or more frequently if used heavily. Allow to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting.

  3. Twist and remove the filter.
