- Remove all packing materials, including any tape or protective films.
- Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. If damaged, do not operate and contact your retailer.
4.2 Placement
- Place the dehumidifier on a firm, level surface that can support its weight when the water bucket is full.
- Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space on all sides of the unit for adequate air circulation.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat-generating appliances, in direct sunlight, or in areas exposed to freezing temperatures.
- For optimal performance, close all doors and windows in the room where the dehumidifier is operating.
4.3 Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the electrical requirements specified in the 'Specifications' section of this manual.
4.4 Water Drainage Options
Your dehumidifier offers two methods for water removal:
- Manual Drainage (Water Bucket): The collected water accumulates in the internal water bucket. When the bucket is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and the 'Bucket Full' indicator will illuminate. Empty the bucket and reinsert it to resume operation.
- Continuous Drainage: For continuous operation without needing to empty the bucket, you can connect a drain hose (not included) to the continuous drain outlet on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage into a suitable floor drain or container.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Turning On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button to power the unit on or off. The Power indicator will light up when the unit is on.
5.2 Setting Desired Humidity Level
- With the unit on, the digital display will show the current room humidity.
- Press the + or - buttons to adjust the desired humidity level. The setting range is typically between 30% RH (Relative Humidity) and 80% RH.
- The unit will operate until the room humidity reaches the set level, then it will cycle off. It will restart automatically if the humidity rises above the set level.
5.3 Fan Speed Selection
Press the Fan Speed button to cycle through the available fan speeds: Low, Mid, and High. A higher fan speed will result in faster dehumidification.
5.4 Continuous Operation
To operate the dehumidifier continuously, bypassing the humidity setting, press the Continuous button (or cycle through modes until the Continuous indicator lights up, depending on the specific button layout). In this mode, the unit will run constantly until manually turned off or the bucket is full (if not using continuous drainage).
5.5 Timer Function
The timer function allows you to set a specific time for the unit to turn on or off automatically.
- Auto-Off Timer: With the unit running, press the Timer button and use the + or - buttons to set the desired number of hours (e.g., 1-24 hours) after which the unit will turn off.
- Auto-On Timer: With the unit off, press the Timer button and use the + or - buttons to set the desired number of hours after which the unit will turn on.

7. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer service, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide for common issues.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dehumidifier does not turn on. | No power supply. Power cord not securely plugged in. Bucket full or not properly inserted. | Check power outlet and circuit breaker. Ensure power cord is firmly connected. Empty and correctly reinsert the water bucket. |
| No water collected. | Room temperature too low. Humidity level already low. Air filter clogged. Continuous drainage hose improperly connected. | Dehumidifiers operate best above 5°C (41°F). Increase desired humidity setting or check room humidity. Clean the air filter. Ensure hose is properly connected and sloped downwards. |
| Unit runs continuously. | Set to Continuous mode. Desired humidity level set too low. Large room or high moisture load. | Turn off Continuous mode. Increase the desired humidity setting. Allow more time for dehumidification or consider a larger unit for the space. |
| Unusual noise. | Unit not on a level surface. Air filter clogged. Internal components loose. | Place on a firm, level surface. Clean the air filter. If noise persists, contact customer support. |
