Protective Cover:

When not in use, fold the Type Cover over the screen of your Surface Pro to protect it from scratches and minor impacts. This action will typically put your Surface Pro into sleep mode.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Type Cover, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the surface of the Type Cover. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Dust and Debris: Regularly remove dust and debris from between the keys and around the trackpad using compressed air or a soft brush.
  • Storage: When not attached to your Surface Pro, store the Type Cover in a clean, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
