Safety Information

  • Battery Safety: Use only the specified battery type (4 AA batteries). Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.

Setup

Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the lantern.
  2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the small screw securing the battery compartment cover.
  3. Remove the cover.
  4. Insert 4 new AA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  5. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions

Switching Modes

The Starlight Lantern features a single control knob located on the front of the device to switch between its two primary functions:

  • OFF: The central position turns the device off.
  • Lantern Mode: Turn the knob to the left to activate the 4-LED lantern for bright illumination.
  • Star Projector Mode: Turn the knob to the right to activate the star projector, casting a celestial display.

Lantern Mode

In lantern mode, the device provides a steady, bright light from its 4 LEDs. This mode is ideal for general illumination during indoor camping, reading, or as a nightlight.

Star Projector Mode

When switched to star projector mode, the top dome projects a field of stars onto walls and ceilings, creating an immersive night sky experience. This mode is perfect for bedtime, relaxation, or imaginative play.

Using the Carry Handle

The lantern is equipped with a convenient foldable carry handle. Lift the handle to carry the device or hang it from a hook. Fold it down when not in use for compact storage.

Maintenance
