4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
- Carefully remove all packaging materials. Keep packaging for future transport if needed.
- Place the kegerator on a flat, level, and sturdy surface capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded.
- Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 4 inches of space on the sides and back) to allow for proper heat dissipation.
- Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.
4.2 Caster Installation
- The unit comes with 4-inch locking casters. Carefully tilt the unit and screw the casters into the designated holes at the bottom corners.
- Ensure all casters are securely tightened.
4.3 Draft Tower Installation
- The kegerator includes a 3-inch diameter draft tower. Position the tower over the opening on the top of the unit.
- Connect the beer line from the tower to the internal cooling system.
- Secure the tower to the top surface using the provided hardware.
4.4 CO2 Tank and Dispense Kit (Not Included)
This kegerator does not include a direct draw dispense kit. You will need to acquire a separate dispense kit and CO2 tank.
- Mount your CO2 tank externally using the provided knockout and mounting bracket. This allows for larger tanks and saves interior space.
- Connect the CO2 regulator to the CO2 tank and then connect the gas line to your dispense kit.
- Follow the instructions provided with your dispense kit for connecting the beer lines to the keg and the draft tower.

5.2 Dispensing Beverages
- Ensure your CO2 tank is connected, the regulator is set to the appropriate pressure (refer to your beverage's specific requirements, typically 10-12 PSI for beer), and the dispense kit is properly attached to the keg and tower.
- The air-cooled tower ensures that the beer lines remain cold all the way up to the faucet, reducing foam during pours.
- To dispense, pull the faucet handle forward. To stop, push the handle back.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Drip Tray
- The built-in drip tray with drain collects spills from the faucet.
- Any spills are routed into an internal drain receptacle. Regularly check and empty this receptacle.
- The drip tray features a removable grill for quick and easy cleaning. Wash with mild soap and water.

6.2 Interior Cleaning
- Unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Wipe down the interior with a damp cloth and mild, food-safe cleaning solution.
- The rubber floor mat can be removed and cleaned separately. This mat helps reduce the shock of heavy kegs on the stainless steel floor.
- Ensure the interior is dry before plugging the unit back in.
6.3 Condenser Coil Cleaning
- Periodically clean the condenser coils located at the back or bottom of the unit. Dust and debris can accumulate, reducing cooling efficiency.
- Use a soft brush or vacuum cleaner to gently remove any buildup.
7. Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, review the following common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not operate | Not plugged in; circuit breaker tripped; power switch off. | Ensure unit is plugged in; reset circuit breaker; turn power switch on. |
| Temperature is not cold enough | Temperature set too high; door not closed properly; excessive door openings; poor ventilation; dirty condenser coils. | Adjust temperature setting; ensure door is sealed; minimize door openings; ensure adequate clearance around unit; clean condenser coils. |
| Excessive foam during dispensing | Beer lines not cold; incorrect CO2 pressure; dirty beer lines; warm keg. | Allow unit to cool completely; verify CO2 pressure settings; clean beer lines; ensure keg is adequately chilled. |
| Water on floor inside unit | Drain tube clogged; high humidity. | Clear any obstructions from the drain tube; this is normal in high humidity. |
