Operating Instructions
The Mr Beams MB562 path lights are designed for automatic, hands-free operation.
- Automatic Activation: The integrated light sensor detects ambient light levels. When it becomes dark enough, the light enters an active state.
- Motion Detection: In the active state (darkness), the motion sensor will detect movement within its 10-20 foot range.
- Illumination: Upon detecting motion, the light will instantly turn on, providing 30 lumens of bright white light.
- Automatic Shut-off: If no further motion is detected for approximately 20 seconds, the light will automatically turn off to conserve battery power.

Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: When the light output diminishes or the light stops activating, it is time to replace the batteries. Always replace all 4 AA batteries with new ones simultaneously for optimal performance. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the light's exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, or debris. Ensure the motion sensor and light sensor lenses are clear for proper operation. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Weather Protection: While the lights are weatherproof, extreme weather conditions (e.g., prolonged heavy rain, snow, or direct sunlight) may affect battery life or performance over time. Ensure the battery compartment is always securely sealed.
