Setup

1. Charging the Keyboard

Your Arteck keyboard features a built-in rechargeable Li-polymer battery. Before initial use, it is recommended to fully charge the keyboard.

• Locate the micro-USB charging port on the side of the keyboard.
• Connect the provided USB charging cable to the keyboard and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
• The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.
• A single charge can last for approximately 6 months based on 2 hours of non-stop use per day.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

The Arteck keyboard supports Bluetooth connectivity with iOS, Android, Mac OS, and Windows operating systems.

1. Turn on the keyboard using the power switch located on the back. The power indicator light will turn green.
2. Press and hold the Fn key, then press the C key (which has a Bluetooth symbol) to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The Bluetooth indicator light will start blinking.
3. On your device (tablet, smartphone, PC), go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
4. Search for "Arteck Bluetooth Keyboard" or "HB086" in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
5. Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the keyboard will stop blinking and remain solid.

2. Comfortable Keystrokes

The keyboard features low-profile, scissor-kick keys designed for quiet and comfortable typing. The X-structure beneath each key ensures equal pressure distribution and lower keystrokes compared to traditional clickety keyboards, enhancing typing comfort and reducing fatigue.

3. Media and Function Keys

The top row of keys provides quick access to common functions and media controls. These functions are system-specific and may vary slightly depending on the connected operating system.

• Home Key: Returns to the home screen (mobile OS).
• Search Key: Opens the search function.
• Select All/Copy/Paste/Cut: Dedicated keys for text manipulation.
• Media Controls: Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Volume Up/Down.
• Function Keys (F1-F12): Hold the Fn key and press the corresponding F-key for standard F1-F12 functionality on Windows.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
