1. Overview
The Simran AR-10000 is a heavy-duty power converter, regulator, and stabilizer with a maximum capacity of 10,000 watts. This unit is designed for bi-directional voltage conversion, allowing it to convert 110/120V to 220/240V, or 220/240V to 110/120V. It is compatible with both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies and single-phase 220/240 volt power systems. The AR-10000 features five outlets on the front panel, accommodating 3-prong or 2-prong US plugs, and 2-prong Euro/Asian plugs. It supports an input voltage range of AC 75V-130V or 180V-260V, providing a regulated output voltage of AC 110V±4% or AC 220V±4%. For enhanced safety, the unit includes a built-in thermal fuse to protect valuable equipment from voltage fluctuations. Terminal connectors are provided for hardwire input and output, offering flexible installation options.

3. Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the unit from its packaging. Due to its weight (approximately 65 pounds), it is recommended to have assistance. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage.
- Input Voltage Selection: Locate the input voltage selector switch on the rear panel of the unit. This switch allows you to select between 110V and 230V input. WARNING: Ensure the correct input voltage is selected BEFORE plugging in the unit. Selecting the wrong voltage can cause damage to the unit and connected appliances.
- Connecting AC Input: Plug the power cord into the AC Input port on the rear of the unit. Connect the other end of the power cord to a wall outlet that matches the selected input voltage.
- Connecting Appliances: Plug your appliance(s) into the appropriate output sockets on the front panel. The unit provides both 110V and 220V output sockets. Ensure your appliance's voltage requirement matches the selected output socket.
- Hardwire Connection (Optional): For hardwire input and output, utilize the provided terminal connectors. Professional installation is recommended for hardwiring to ensure safety and proper functionality.

4. Operating Instructions
- Powering On: After ensuring all connections are secure and the input voltage selector is correctly set, flip the ON/OFF power switch on the front panel to the 'ON' position. The 'POWER SOURCE' indicator light (green) should illuminate.
- Powering Off: To turn off the unit, flip the ON/OFF power switch to the 'OFF' position.
- Fuse Reset: In the event of an overload or power surge, the built-in thermal fuse may trip to protect the unit and connected devices. If the unit loses power, check the fuse button on the rear panel. If it has popped out, push it back in to reset the fuse. If the fuse repeatedly trips, reduce the load on the converter or check for a fault in the connected appliance.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the unit clean and free from dust. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the sides of the unit are not obstructed to prevent overheating.
- Storage: Store the converter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture when not in use.
- Inspection: Periodically check the power cord and plugs for any signs of damage. Do not use the unit if any part is damaged.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the unit and the wall outlet.
- Verify that the input voltage selector on the rear panel is set correctly for your region's power supply.
- Check the fuse button on the rear panel. If it has popped out, push it back in to reset.
- Ensure the wall outlet is functioning by testing it with another device.
- Fuse Trips Repeatedly:
- The connected appliance may be drawing too much power. Ensure the total wattage of all connected devices does not exceed 80% of the converter's maximum capacity (e.g., for a 10,000W unit, do not exceed 8,000W).
- Disconnect all appliances and try resetting the fuse. If it still trips, the converter may have an internal fault.
- Unusual Noise or Smell:
- Immediately turn off the unit and disconnect it from the power source.
- Contact customer support for assistance. Do not attempt to open or repair the unit yourself.
