Setup
Front Panel Overview

- Power Connection: Ensure the amplifier is connected to a suitable power source using the provided power cord.
- Speaker Connection: Connect your speaker cabinet to the appropriate speaker output on the rear panel. Ensure the impedance switch matches your cabinet's impedance (4, 8, or 16 Ohms).
- Instrument Input: Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack on the front panel.
- Footswitch (Optional): Connect an optional Bugera FSB102A footswitch to the FOOTSW jack on the rear panel for remote channel switching and reverb control.

- INFINIUM Tube Life Monitoring: This section features LED indicators that light up when it's time to replace a power tube. It also includes a switch for Class A/B or Class A operation.
- Emulated DI Out: Provides a direct output with cabinet emulation (1x12 or 4x12 options) for recording or connecting to a PA system.
- Loudspeaker Outputs: Multiple jacks for connecting speaker cabinets, with an impedance selector switch.
- FX Loop: Send and Return jacks for connecting external effects pedals or processors.
Operating Instructions
Powering On
- Ensure all connections are secure.
- Flip the MAINS switch to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Wait approximately one minute for the tubes to warm up.
- Flip the STANDBY switch to the "ON" position. The amplifier is now ready for use.
Front Panel Controls
- Clean Channel:
- GAIN: Adjusts the input sensitivity and clean channel drive.
- TREBLE, MID, BASS: Tone controls for the clean channel.
- Lead Channel:
- GAIN: Adjusts the input sensitivity and lead channel drive.
- TREBLE, MID, BASS: Tone controls for the lead channel.
- VOLUME: Controls the output volume of the lead channel.
- Master Section:
- MORPH EQ: Seamlessly sweeps between USA and British EQ-style tone characteristics.
- PHAT: Engages a "Phat" boost for increased low-end response.
- REVERB: Adjusts the intensity of the built-in high-definition reverb effect.
- TONE CUT: Global tone control that cuts high frequencies.
- VOLUME: Master output volume control for the entire amplifier.
Maintenance
Tube Replacement (INFINIUM Technology)
The Bugera G20 INFINIUM features advanced INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier technology, which extends the lifespan of your power tubes and simplifies replacement.
- The INFINIUM TUBE LIFE MONITORING LEDs on the rear panel will illuminate when a specific power tube needs to be replaced.
- When an LED lights up, power down the amplifier, allow it to cool, and replace the indicated tube with a new, compatible EL34 tube.
- No biasing is required after replacement, thanks to the INFINIUM technology.
For optimal performance, it is recommended to use high-quality replacement tubes.
Troubleshooting

- No Sound:
- Check all cable connections (power, instrument, speaker).
- Ensure the MAINS and STANDBY switches are in the "ON" position.
