5.2 Battery Replacement

When the keyboard's performance degrades or it stops responding, it's time to replace the batteries. Open the battery compartment on the underside, remove the old AAA batteries, and insert two new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Dispose of old batteries responsibly.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Keyboard Not Responding

  • Check Batteries: Ensure the batteries are correctly inserted and not depleted. Replace them if necessary.
  • Power Switch: Make sure the keyboard's ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
  • Receiver Connection: Verify that the Unifying USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
  • Distance: Ensure the keyboard is within the operational range of the receiver (typically up to 10 meters or 33 feet).
  • Interference: Move the keyboard closer to the receiver and away from other wireless devices or large metal objects that might cause interference.
  • Re-pair Device: If issues persist, you may need to re-pair the keyboard with the Unifying receiver using the Logicool Unifying Software.

6.2 Lag or Delayed Input

  • Reduce Interference: Move the receiver to a line-of-sight position with the keyboard, or use a USB extender cable to bring the receiver closer.
  • Check Battery Level: Low battery can sometimes cause performance issues.
  • System Resources: Ensure your computer is not under heavy load, which can affect peripheral responsiveness.
