3. Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1 Mounting the LED Panel

  2. Securely mount the LED Brightlight 876 panel onto the ball head. Ensure it is tightened to prevent accidental movement.

4.2 Powering the Device

The LED Brightlight 876 can be powered by the included NP-F750 batteries or via the AC power adapter.

Using Batteries:

  1. Ensure the NP-F750 batteries are fully charged using the dual battery charger.
  2. Locate the battery slots on the back of the LED panel.
  3. Slide the charged batteries into the slots until they click into place.

5. Operating

5.1 Power On/Off

Locate the power switch on the back panel of the LED light. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on the device. Slide it to 'OFF' to power off.

5.2 Adjusting Brightness

Use the dimmer knob on the back panel to adjust the light intensity from 10% to 100%. Rotate clockwise to increase brightness and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

5.3 Using Diffusion Filters and Barn Doors

The LED Brightlight 876 comes with integrated barn doors and magnetic diffusion filters to shape and soften the light.

  • Barn Doors: Adjust the four barn door flaps to control the spread of light and prevent spill.
  • Diffusion Filters: The soft diffuser disc and warm tone disc can be magnetically attached to the front of the LED panel to soften the light or adjust its color temperature slightly.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

To clean the LED panel and housing, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Charge batteries fully before first use.
  • Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • Do not expose batteries to extreme heat or cold.
  • If storing for extended periods, charge batteries to approximately 50% every few months.

6.3 Storage

When not in use, store the LED Brightlight 876 and its accessories in the provided transport and storage case to protect them from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
