3. Setup
3.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the Cayin N5 DAP. Connect the device to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
3.2 Inserting a MicroSD Card
The Cayin N5 DAP supports two microSD card slots for expanded storage. Ensure the device is powered off before inserting or removing microSD cards.
- Locate the microSD card slots on the device.
- Gently insert the microSD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the card inward until it springs out.
3.3 Connecting Headphones
The N5 DAP offers both 3.5mm unbalanced and 2.5mm balanced headphone outputs.
- For 3.5mm Unbalanced Output: Plug your headphones into the 3.5mm headphone jack.
- For 2.5mm Balanced Output: Plug your compatible balanced headphones into the 2.5mm balanced jack.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power-off prompt appears, then confirm.
4.2 Basic Playback Controls
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
- Next Track: Press the Next Track button.
- Previous Track: Press the Previous Track button.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the dedicated Volume Up and Volume Down buttons or the scroll wheel to adjust the volume.
4.3 Navigation
