3. Setup

3.1 Attaching the Antenna

1. Align the antenna's threaded end with the antenna connector on top of the radio.
2. Gently screw the antenna clockwise until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

3.2 Installing the Battery

1. Ensure the radio is powered off.
2. Align the battery pack with the grooves on the back of the radio.
3. Slide the battery upwards until it clicks securely into place.

3.3 Charging the Battery

4. Operating Instructions

To power on the radio, rotate the volume knob (located on the top of the radio) clockwise. Continue rotating to increase the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off the radio.

4.2 Frequency/Channel Mode
