4. Setup and Initial Operation

4.1 Unpacking and Inspection

• Carefully remove the pallet jack from its packaging.
• Inspect for any visible damage that may have occurred during shipping. Report any damage to the carrier and supplier immediately.
• Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present.

4.2 Battery Charging

The Eoslift W20 comes with two maintenance-free batteries. For optimal performance and battery life, fully charge the batteries before initial use.

1. Locate the charging port on the pallet jack.
2. Connect the charger to the pallet jack's charging port.
3. Plug the charger into a suitable power outlet (24V/210Ah).
4. Allow the batteries to charge completely. Refer to the charger's indicator lights for charge status.
5. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger from the pallet jack and the power outlet.

Important: Always ensure the emergency stop button is engaged (pushed in) before connecting or disconnecting the charger.

5. Operating Instructions

• Drive Control: The butterfly switches on the tiller head control forward and reverse movement. Push forward for forward motion, pull back for reverse. The speed is proportional to the switch deflection.
• Lift/Lower Controls: Buttons located on the tiller head (typically orange) control the hydraulic lift and lower functions of the forks.
• Horn: The yellow button on the tiller head activates the horn to alert others.

5.2 Starting the Pallet Jack

1. Ensure the emergency stop button is released (pulled out).
2. Turn the key switch (if present) to the "ON" position.

5.3 Moving and Lifting Loads

1. Position the pallet jack squarely in front of the pallet.
2. Lower the forks completely using the lower control button.
3. Slowly drive the pallet jack forward, inserting the forks fully into the pallet.
4. Use the lift control button to raise the forks until the pallet is clear of the ground.
5. Carefully transport the load, maintaining a safe speed and clear visibility.
6. To deposit the load, position the pallet over the desired location, then use the lower control button to gently set the pallet down.
7. Once the pallet is on the ground, lower the forks completely and slowly back out the pallet jack.

Note: Always operate the pallet jack with the tiller in the operating range (between vertical and horizontal positions) to ensure proper braking and control.

6.1 Daily Checks

• Check battery charge level.
