Setup
1. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to position 2 (farthest out). The second hand will stop.
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands clockwise until the desired time is set. Ensure AM/PM is correctly set if your watch has a 24-hour indicator or date changes at midnight.
- Push the crown back into position 0 (normal operating position). The second hand will resume movement.
2. Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to position 1 (first click).
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise (depending on the movement) until the correct date appears in the date window.
- Push the crown back into position 0.
- Note: Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this may interfere with the date change mechanism. If you need to set the date during this period, first set the time outside this range, then set the date, and finally reset the time.
3. Chronograph Hand Alignment (if necessary)
If the chronograph hands do not reset to the zero position, they may need alignment.
- Pull the crown out to position 2.
- Press pusher A (top pusher) repeatedly to advance the chronograph second hand to the 12 o'clock (zero) position.
- Press pusher B (bottom pusher) repeatedly to advance the chronograph minute hand to the 12 o'clock (zero) position.
- Once all chronograph hands are aligned, push the crown back into position 0.
Operating Your Watch
1. Using the Chronograph
The chronograph measures elapsed time in seconds and minutes.
- Start: Press pusher A to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.
- Stop: Press pusher A again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph second and minute hands.
- Reset: After stopping, press pusher B to reset the chronograph hands to the zero position.
- Split Time (if applicable): Some chronographs allow for split time measurement. Refer to specific model instructions if this feature is present. For this model, it primarily functions as a standard start/stop/reset chronograph.
2. Indiglo Night-Light
Your TIMEX Weekender Chronograph features the Indiglo night-light for illumination in low-light conditions.
- To activate the Indiglo night-light, press and hold the crown (in position 0). The entire dial will illuminate.
- Release the crown to turn off the light.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Watch
- Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth.
- For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight. Clean with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry. Do not use harsh chemicals.
2. Battery Replacement
When the watch battery needs replacement, the second hand may begin to jump in 2-second intervals (End-of-Life indicator). It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.
3. Water Resistance
Your watch is water resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, or diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Time or date not setting: Ensure the crown is pulled out to the correct position (position 1 for date, position 2 for time).
- Chronograph hands not resetting to zero: Follow the "Chronograph Hand Alignment" instructions in the Setup section.
- Indiglo not working: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in (position 0) before pressing it to activate Indiglo. If it still doesn't work, the battery may be low.
