Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your convection oven.
- Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- The glass bowl and cooking racks are easy to clean and can be washed by hand or in a dishwasher.
- The lid, containing the heating element and fan, should never be immersed in water. Wipe the exterior of the lid with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For the interior, a swipe with a wet sponge followed by a paper towel is recommended.
- Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before reassembling or storing the oven.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Rosewill Convection Oven, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Oven not heating: Ensure the lid is properly seated and the safety handle is fully lowered. Check that the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. If the heating element has stopped working after extended use, it may require professional servicing or replacement.
- Unusual noise during operation: A fan operates during cooking to circulate hot air, which produces a normal operating sound. If the noise is excessively loud or unusual, it may indicate an internal component issue. Ensure the oven is on a stable surface and nothing is obstructing the fan vents.
- Food not cooking evenly: Ensure food is placed on the appropriate rack and not overcrowded. For best results, preheat the oven if specified in recipes.
