Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all parts that will come into contact with food in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. The power base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.

  1. Choose the appropriate blade: Use the Cross Blade for blending, chopping, and grinding. Use the Flat Blade for whipping and grinding harder ingredients like coffee beans.
  2. Attach the blade to a cup: Place your ingredients into the desired cup (Tall Cup, Short Cup, or Serving Cup). Screw the chosen blade assembly onto the open end of the cup until securely tightened.
  3. Place on Power Base: Invert the cup assembly and place it onto the Power Base. Align the tabs on the cup with the slots on the Power Base.
  4. Engage the motor: Press down firmly on the cup to activate the motor. For continuous operation, press down and twist the cup clockwise until it locks into place. To stop, twist counter-clockwise and release.
  5. For Blender Jug: Attach the Cross Blade to the bottom of the 1,250ml Blender Jug. Place the jug onto the Power Base and secure the lid.
  6. For Juice Extractor: Assemble the juice extractor components according to the recipe guide, then place on the Power Base.

Operating Instructions

General Blending and Chopping

The JML Rapido is designed for quick processing. Most tasks are completed in 10 seconds or less. Avoid continuous operation for more than 1 minute to prevent overheating. If the motor overheats, allow it to cool down for 15-20 minutes before resuming use.

  • Blending Smoothies/Shakes: Add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or ice. Do not overfill the cup beyond the MAX line.
  • Chopping/Grinding: For best results, process ingredients in short pulses. This allows for better control over consistency.

Using the Juice Extractor

The juice extractor attachment allows you to extract fresh juice from fruits and vegetables. Refer to the included recipe guide for specific instructions on assembling and using this attachment for various ingredients.

Using the Shaker Top and Steamer Top

The Shaker Top is useful for sprinkling spices or cheese. The Steamer Top can be used for steaming small portions of food in the microwave, ensuring the cup is microwave-safe and following appropriate microwave usage guidelines.

  • Cleaning Cups and Blades: All cups, lids, and blade assemblies are dishwasher safe (top rack only) or can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Handle blades with extreme care due to their sharpness.
  • Stubborn Residue: For stubborn residue, fill the cup with warm water and a drop of dish soap, attach the blade, and run the blender for a few seconds. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Storage: Store the appliance and its accessories in a clean, dry place.
