3. What's in the Box

Upon opening the package, ensure all components are present:

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Insert the 18650 Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

4.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the flashlight battery.

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the flashlight (typically under a protective cover near the tail cap).
  2. Connect the included micro USB cable to the flashlight's charging port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
  4. A charging indicator light (usually red) will illuminate. It will typically change color (e.g., green or off) when charging is complete.
  5. Disconnect the USB cable once fully charged.

5. Operating Instructions

The Power Probe Flashlight features a single tail switch for controlling power and light modes.

  1. Power On/Off: Press the tail switch firmly until it clicks to turn the flashlight ON or OFF.
  2. Mode Selection: With the flashlight ON, lightly press the tail switch (without clicking) to cycle through the different light modes:
    • First press: High setting (800 lumens)
    • Second press: Medium setting (400 lumens)
    • Third press: Low setting (40 lumens)
    • Fourth press: Strobe mode (flashing)
  3. After cycling through Strobe mode, the next light press will return to the High setting.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care:
    • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.
    • Avoid fully discharging the battery for extended periods.
    • If the flashlight will not be used for a long time, remove the battery to prevent potential leakage.
    • Replace the battery if you notice a significant decrease in run time or brightness.
  • Waterproof Seals: Periodically inspect the O-rings and seals for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure they are clean and properly seated to maintain the IPX7 waterproof rating.
  • Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting
