Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the mouse.
  2. Slide the cover open.
  3. Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  5. Turn on the mouse using the power switch located on the bottom. The LED indicator should light up.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

To connect your Logitech M535 mouse to your device, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the mouse is turned on.
  2. Press and hold the Connect button (usually located on the bottom of the mouse, near the power switch) for 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator starts blinking rapidly. This indicates the mouse is in pairing mode.
  3. On your computer or tablet, navigate to the Bluetooth settings:
    • Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on. Click "Add Bluetooth or other device" and select "Bluetooth".
    • macOS: Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
    • Chrome OS: Click the status area (bottom-right corner) and then click "Bluetooth".
    • Android: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
  4. Your device will search for available Bluetooth devices. Select "Logitech M535" from the list of discovered devices.
  5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process. Once successfully paired, the LED indicator on the mouse will glow solid blue for a few seconds and then turn off.

Note: The M535 supports pairing with one device at a time. To switch devices, you will need to re-enter pairing mode and connect to the new device.
