Safety Information
This hearing protection product helps reduce exposure to hazardous noise and other loud sounds. Misuse or failure to wear hearing protectors at all times that you are exposed to noise may result in hearing loss or injury.
For proper use, refer to the user instructions. 3M strongly recommends fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that many users will receive less noise reduction than indicated by the NRR due to variation in hearing protector fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. If the NRR is used, 3M recommends that it be reduced by 50% or in accordance with applicable regulations.

Setup
Battery Installation:
The 3M WorkTunes Connect+ uses two AA batteries. The battery compartment is located on the side of the earcups. To install or replace batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the earcup.
- Open the cover.
- Insert two fresh AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: The device is designed to use AA batteries for quick replacement, ensuring continuous operation without waiting for charging.
Initial Pairing (Bluetooth):
- Ensure your 3M WorkTunes Connect+ is powered on.
- Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
- On the 3M WorkTunes, press and hold the Bluetooth button (often labeled with a Bluetooth symbol or integrated with the power button) until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "3M WorkTunes Connect+" from the list.
- Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will typically turn solid blue or change to a slow flash. Audio Assist Technology will confirm the connection.
Tip: For optimal Bluetooth range, keep your connected device within close proximity to the headset.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- To power on: Press and hold the Power button (often combined with the Bluetooth button) until you hear an audible confirmation.
- To power off: Press and hold the Power button until the device shuts down.
Switching Audio Sources (AM/FM/Bluetooth):
Use the "Source" button to cycle through available audio sources: AM Radio, FM Radio, and Bluetooth.

AM/FM Radio Operation:
- Tuning: Use the tuning knob (large circular dial) to manually tune to desired radio stations.
- Preset Stations: Audio Assist Technology guides you through programming up to 50 AM/FM radio stations. Refer to the Audio Assist prompts for detailed steps.

Volume Control:
Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume knob, typically located on the side of the earcup. For Bluetooth audio, you may also need to adjust the volume on your connected mobile device.
Making and Receiving Calls:
When connected via Bluetooth, the integrated microphone allows for hands-free communication.
- Answering a Call: Press the multi-function button (often the main control button) once to answer an incoming call.
- Ending a Call: Press the multi-function button once to end an active call.
- Rejecting a Call: Press and hold the multi-function button to reject an incoming call.

Maintenance
Cleaning:
- Clean the exterior of the headset with a damp cloth.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure the USB port cover is closed to prevent moisture ingress.
Storage:
- Store the 3M WorkTunes Connect+ in a cool, dry place.
- Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight, as these can damage the components and ear cushions.
Ear Cushion Replacement:
Over time, ear cushions may wear out. Replacement cushions are available from 3M or authorized retailers to maintain optimal comfort and hearing protection performance.
