It features a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24 dB, Bluetooth wireless technology for seamless streaming, an integrated microphone for calls, excellent AM/FM radio performance, and Audio Assist Technology for operational guidance.

Safety Information

This hearing protection product helps reduce exposure to hazardous noise and other loud sounds. Misuse or failure to wear hearing protectors at all times that you are exposed to noise may result in hearing loss or injury.

For proper use, refer to the user instructions. 3M strongly recommends fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that many users will receive less noise reduction than indicated by the NRR due to variation in hearing protector fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. If the NRR is used, 3M recommends that it be reduced by 50% or in accordance with applicable regulations.

Setup

Battery Installation:

The 3M WorkTunes Connect+ uses two AA batteries. The battery compartment is located on the side of the earcups. To install or replace batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the earcup.
  2. Open the cover.
  3. Insert two fresh AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: The device is designed to use AA batteries for quick replacement, ensuring continuous operation without waiting for charging.

Initial Pairing (Bluetooth):

  1. Ensure your 3M WorkTunes Connect+ is powered on.
  2. Activate Bluetooth on your mobile device.
  3. On the 3M WorkTunes, press and hold the Bluetooth button (often labeled with a Bluetooth symbol or integrated with the power button) until the indicator light flashes, indicating pairing mode.
  4. On your mobile device, search for available Bluetooth devices and select "3M WorkTunes Connect+" from the list.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light on the headset will typically turn solid blue or change to a slow flash. Audio Assist Technology will confirm the connection.

Tip: For optimal Bluetooth range, keep your connected device within close proximity to the headset.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off:

Switching Audio Sources (AM/FM/Bluetooth):

Use the "Source" button to cycle through available audio sources: AM Radio, FM Radio, and Bluetooth.

AM/FM Radio Operation:

Volume Control:

Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume knob, typically located on the side of the earcup. For Bluetooth audio, you may also need to adjust the volume on your connected mobile device.

Making and Receiving Calls:

When connected via Bluetooth, the integrated microphone allows for hands-free communication.
