• Ensure the tree stand is securely attached to a healthy, live tree with sufficient diameter to support the stand and user's weight. Avoid dead, diseased, or leaning trees.

• Always maintain three points of contact (two hands and one foot, or one hand and two feet) when ascending or descending the tree or entering/exiting the stand.

5. When descending, reverse the climbing process, always maintaining three points of contact and keeping your FAS tether attached.
