4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Using as a Saw Horse

For general cutting and material support, simply unfold the saw horse and adjust its height as needed. The non-slip surface on the top beam helps to keep materials secure during work.

4.2. Creating a Jobsite Table

To create a stable jobsite table, use two TOU-C700 Saw Horses. Extend the adjustable support arms on both units. Insert 2x4 or 4x4 lumber into the support arms to form crossbeams. Place a sheet of plywood or other suitable material on top of the crossbeams to create a large, sturdy work surface. Ensure the lumber is securely seated in the support arms.

4.3. Utilizing Innovative Support Pegs for Upright Cutting

The TOU-C700 features unique side support pegs that flip out from the legs. These pegs allow you to hold sheet materials (like plywood or drywall) vertically for easier cutting. Simply flip out the pegs on one or both sides, lean your material against them, and perform your cuts. This feature significantly improves safety and efficiency when working with large sheets.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your TOU-C700 Saw Horse, regular maintenance is recommended:

  • Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the saw horse with a damp cloth to remove dust, debris, and any accumulated paint or adhesive. For stubborn grime, a mild detergent can be used. Ensure the unit is dry before storage.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect all moving parts, including the leg hinges, height adjustment mechanisms, and support arms, for any signs of wear, damage, or loose fasteners.
  • Lubrication: Apply a light lubricant to the moving joints and sliding mechanisms as needed to ensure smooth operation.
  • Storage: Store the saw horse in a clean, dry environment when not in use to prevent rust and corrosion. Its compact folding design makes storage easy.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your TOU-C700 Saw Horse, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

  • Saw Horse is Unstable:
    • Ensure all legs are fully extended and locked into place.
    • Verify that all legs are adjusted to the same height.
    • Check that the pivoting feet are making full contact with the ground.
    • Ensure the working surface is level and free of obstructions.
  • Legs are Difficult to Adjust or Fold:
    • Clean any debris or buildup from the sliding mechanisms and hinges.
    • Apply a light lubricant to the moving parts.
    • Ensure no weight is on the saw horse when attempting to adjust or fold the legs.
  • Support Arms Not Holding Lumber Securely:
