5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

  • Power ON/OFF: Press the POWER button (usually marked with ⏻ or SRC) to turn the unit on or off.
  • Volume Control: Rotate the VOLUME knob or use the VOL+ / VOL- buttons on the remote.
  • Source Selection: Press the SRC or MODE button to cycle through available sources (FM, AM, USB, SD, AUX, Bluetooth).

5.2 Radio Operation (AM/FM)

  • Band Selection: Press the BAND button to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, and AM1, AM2.
  • Automatic Tuning: Press and hold the SEEK or TUNE buttons (usually << / >>) to automatically search for the next strong station.
  • Manual Tuning: Briefly press the SEEK or TUNE buttons to fine-tune the frequency.
  • Store/Recall Presets: To store a station, tune to the desired frequency, then press and hold one of the numeric preset buttons (1-6) until you hear a beep. To recall, simply press the corresponding preset button.
  • Automatic Store: Press and hold the AMS button (if available) to automatically scan and store strong stations into presets.

5.3 USB/SD/MMC Playback

  • Insert a USB drive into the USB port or an SD/MMC card into the card slot. The unit will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playback.
  • Play/Pause: Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
  • Next/Previous Track: Press the NEXT (>>) or PREVIOUS (<<) buttons.
  • Fast Forward/Rewind: Press and hold the NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons.

  1. Pairing:

  3. Hands-Free Calling (HFP):
    • When a call comes in, the car stereo display will show the caller ID (if supported).

    • Press the END CALL button (usually ☏) to end the call.

5.6 Detachable Faceplate

  • Removing: Press the RELEASE button (usually on the top left of the faceplate). Gently pull the faceplate towards you.

  • Store the faceplate in a protective case when removed to prevent damage.

6. Maintenance
