2. Controls and Display
Front Display Indicators
- PM: Indicates PM time in 12-hour format.
- AL1: Indicates Alarm 1 is active.
- AL2: Indicates Alarm 2 is active.

3. Initial Setup
3.1 Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet. The display will light up.
3.2 Battery Backup Installation
The unit requires 2 x AA batteries (not included) for time and alarm settings backup during a power outage.
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 2 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.3 Setting the Time
- In standby mode, press and hold the MEMORY / THE SET button. The hour digits will flash.
- Use the TUNING- / HOUR and TUNING+ / MINUTE buttons to adjust the hour.
- Press MEMORY / THE SET again. The minute digits will flash.
- Use the TUNING- / HOUR and TUNING+ / MINUTE buttons to adjust the minutes.
- Press MEMORY / THE SET or wait a few seconds for the setting to be saved.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Radio Operation (FM/PLL)
- Press the FUNCTION button to switch to FM radio mode. The frequency will be displayed.
- Use the TUNING- / HOUR and TUNING+ / MINUTE buttons to manually tune to a desired frequency.
- To auto-scan and save stations: Press and hold MEMORY / THE SET. The radio will scan and store available stations.
- To recall saved stations: Briefly press MEMORY / THE SET repeatedly to cycle through saved presets.
- Adjust volume using the VOL- / ALT and VOL+ / ALR buttons.
4.2 Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 / Alarm 2)
- Press and hold VOL- / ALT for Alarm 1 or VOL+ / ALR for Alarm 2. The alarm hour will flash.
- Use TUNING- / HOUR and TUNING+ / MINUTE to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press the respective alarm button again (VOL- / ALT or VOL+ / ALR). The alarm minute will flash.
- Use TUNING- / HOUR and TUNING+ / MINUTE to set the desired alarm minute.
- Press the respective alarm button again to select the alarm source (Buzzer or Radio).
- Press the respective alarm button one more time or wait for a few seconds to confirm and activate the alarm. The AL1 or AL2 indicator will appear on the display.
4.3 Snooze Function
When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE / DIMMER / SLEEP button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after this period.
4.4 Sleep Timer Function
- While the radio is playing, press the SNOOZE / DIMMER / SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through sleep timer options (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
- The radio will automatically turn off after the selected duration. The SLEEP indicator will be lit.
4.5 Dimmer Function
In standby mode, briefly press the SNOOZE / DIMMER / SLEEP button to adjust the brightness of the LED display (High, Low, Off).
5. Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: If not in use for an extended period, disconnect from power and remove backup batteries. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Battery Replacement: Replace backup batteries annually or when the display shows signs of fading during power outages.
