Setup

Initial Inspection

Upon receiving your Samsonite Omni PC luggage set, inspect all three pieces for any signs of damage during shipping. Ensure all zippers, handles, and wheels operate smoothly.

Setting the TSA Combination Lock

Your luggage comes with an integrated TSA-approved combination lock. To set your personal combination:

1. The lock is preset to 0-0-0.
2. Locate the small reset button (usually recessed) next to the dials. Use a pen or pointed object to press and hold this button.
3. While holding the reset button, set your desired 3-digit combination by turning the dials.
4. Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
5. Test your new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your code to open the lock.

Important: Remember your combination. Samsonite does not retain personal combinations.

Operating Instructions

Using Spinner Wheels

The Omni PC luggage features four multi-directional spinner wheels. These wheels allow the suitcase to glide effortlessly in any direction, reducing strain on your arm and shoulder. To operate, simply push or pull the suitcase alongside you, or rotate it 360 degrees for easy maneuverability in tight spaces.

Extending/Retracting the Telescopic Handle

Each suitcase is equipped with a telescopic pull handle for comfortable transport. To extend the handle, press the button located on the top of the handle and pull upwards. To retract, press the button again and push the handle downwards until it locks into its fully recessed position.

Utilizing the Expansion Feature

For additional packing capacity, your Omni PC suitcase includes an expansion zipper. To expand, locate the secondary zipper running along the perimeter of the suitcase (often indicated by a different color pull tab, such as red). Unzip this zipper completely to increase the depth of the suitcase. To return to standard size, zip it back up.

Internal Organization

The interior of each suitcase is designed for efficient packing. One side features a mesh divider with a zipper closure to separate items and keep them secure. The other side includes cross straps to compress clothing and prevent shifting during transit, along with a small zipped modesty pocket for personal items.

Maintenance

Hardside Care

To clean the hardside polycarbonate shell, use a gentle soap and warm water, then rinse thoroughly. For added luster and scratch resistance, a silicone-based automobile or furniture polish can be applied after cleaning. Avoid using combination cleaner-polishes.

Zipper Maintenance

Periodically check zippers for any debris or obstructions. If a zipper becomes stiff, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or wax to the teeth to ensure smooth operation.

Wheel and Handle Maintenance

Keep wheels free of dirt and debris. If wheels become stiff or noisy, a small amount of silicone spray lubricant can improve performance. Ensure the telescopic handle extends and retracts smoothly; avoid forcing it if it encounters resistance.

Troubleshooting

Zipper Issues

If a zipper becomes stuck or separates, try to gently move the slider back and forth. Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth. If the zipper continues to separate, consider using luggage straps to secure the contents, especially for checked baggage, to prevent accidental opening.

Stuck Telescopic Handle

If the telescopic handle is difficult to extend or retract, check for any obstructions in the handle mechanism. Ensure the release button is fully depressed. Avoid applying excessive force, as this may cause damage.

Wheel Performance

If wheels are not rolling smoothly, check for hair, lint, or other debris caught in the wheel axles. Clean as necessary. If a wheel is damaged, contact customer support for assistance.
