Setup and Initial Use

1. Inspecting Your Luggage

Upon receiving your Samsonite Omni PC luggage, inspect it for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. If any damage is found, contact your retailer or Samsonite customer service immediately.

2. Setting the TSA Combination Lock

Your luggage is equipped with a TSA-approved combination lock. The initial combination is typically set to 0-0-0. To set your personal combination:

1. Locate the small reset button (often recessed) next to the dials. Use a pen or a pointed object to press and hold this button.
2. While holding the reset button, rotate the dials to your desired three-digit combination.
3. Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set.
4. Test your new combination by scrambling the dials and then entering your set combination to open the lock.

Important: Remember your combination. Samsonite does not retain personal lock combinations.

Operating Your Luggage

1. Using the Spinner Wheels

The four multi-directional spinner wheels allow for 360-degree upright rolling, reducing strain on your arm and shoulder. To move your luggage, simply push or pull it in any direction. For optimal maneuverability, keep the luggage upright and allow the wheels to glide.

2. Extending and Retracting the Telescoping Handle

To extend the handle, press the button located on the top of the handle and pull upwards. Release the button at your desired height. To retract, press the button again and push the handle downwards until it is fully nested.

3. Utilizing the Expansion Feature

For additional packing capacity, locate the secondary zipper running along the perimeter of the luggage. Unzip this section to expand the main compartment. Zip it back up to return to the standard size.

4. Packing the Interior

The interior features cross-straps to secure your belongings and a zippered mesh divider to separate compartments, aiding in organization and preventing items from shifting during transit.

Maintenance and Care

• Zipper Care: Keep zippers free of debris. If a zipper becomes stiff, apply a small amount of zipper lubricant or wax.
• Wheel Maintenance: Periodically check wheels for debris and clean as necessary to ensure smooth rolling.
• Storage: Store your luggage in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

Troubleshooting

• Stuck Telescoping Handle: Ensure no items inside the luggage are obstructing the handle mechanism. Press the release button firmly and try to extend/retract.
