Getting Started
Battery Installation
The Kidizoom Duo camera requires 4 AA batteries for operation. These batteries are included for demonstration purposes only. For regular use, it is recommended to install new, high-quality alkaline batteries.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the camera.
- Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Note: The camera is not rechargeable. Do not attempt to charge the camera or use rechargeable batteries unless specifically designed for this device.

Attaching the Wrist Strap
A wrist strap is included to help prevent accidental drops. Attach the strap to the designated loop on the camera body.
Powering On
Press and hold the Power button (usually located on the side or top of the camera) until the screen illuminates. To turn off, press and hold the Power button again.
Operating the Camera
Taking Photos and Videos
The Kidizoom Duo features a front-facing camera for general photography and a rear-facing camera ideal for selfies. Use the camera selection button to switch between the two lenses.
- To take a photo: Select the camera mode, aim the camera, and press the Shutter button.
- To record a video: Select the video mode, press the Record button to start, and press it again to stop.

Enhance your photos and videos with various built-in effects:
- Laugh-Out-Loud Photo Effects: Apply fun distortions and frames to your pictures.

Playing Games
The camera includes five interactive games, three of which are motion-controlled, offering additional entertainment.

Connecting to a Computer
To transfer photos and videos to a computer, use the included micro USB cable.
- Connect the micro USB cable to the camera's USB port and to an available USB port on your computer.
- The camera will appear as a removable drive on your computer.
- Drag and drop files to transfer them.
Important: The micro USB cable is for file transferring only and does not charge the camera.

Automatic Power Off
To conserve battery life, the camera will automatically power off after approximately three minutes of inactivity.

Troubleshooting
- Camera not turning on: Ensure fresh AA batteries are correctly installed.
