Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Clean: Before first use, wash the glass jar, blade assembly, lid, and pour-thru cap in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The motor base should only be wiped with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble Blade: Place the blade assembly onto the bottom opening of the glass jar. Ensure it is securely seated.
  4. Attach Jar to Base: Place the assembled glass jar onto the motor base. Rotate the jar clockwise until it locks securely into position.
  5. Secure Lid: Place the lid onto the glass jar and insert the pour-thru cap into the lid opening. Ensure the lid is firmly in place before operating.
  6. Position: Place the blender on a stable, flat, and dry surface.

Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective blending:

  1. Add Ingredients: Place desired ingredients into the glass jar. Do not exceed the 1.5-liter (48 fluid ounces) maximum fill line. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or ice.
  2. Secure Lid: Ensure the lid and pour-thru cap are securely in place on the glass jar.
  3. Plug In: Plug the blender into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Select Speed:
    • Press the OFF button to ensure the blender is off before selecting a speed.
    • Press the desired speed button: CHOP, MIX, GRATE, BLEND, or LIQUIFY. The blender will begin operating at the selected speed.
    • For short bursts of power, press and hold the PULSE button. Release to stop. The PULSE function operates at the highest speed setting.
  5. Monitor Blending: Blend until desired consistency is achieved. If ingredients stick to the sides, turn off the blender, remove the lid, and use a spatula to push ingredients towards the blades. Replace lid before resuming.
  6. Stop Blending: Once blending is complete, press the OFF button.
  7. Unplug: Always unplug the blender from the electrical outlet after use.
  8. Remove Jar: Carefully remove the glass jar from the motor base by rotating it counter-clockwise.

CAUTION: Do not operate the blender continuously for more than 2 minutes. Allow the motor to rest for at least 10 minutes between heavy blending tasks to prevent overheating.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your blender.

  1. Unplug: Always ensure the blender is unplugged before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the glass jar, lid, pour-thru cap, and blade assembly from the motor base.
  3. Wash Parts: The glass jar, blade assembly, lid, and pour-thru cap are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, they can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean around the blades carefully. Rinse thoroughly.
  4. Clean Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  5. Dry: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
  6. Storage: Store the blender in a clean, dry place.

WARNING: Blades are sharp. Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the blade assembly to avoid injury.
