1. Introduction

4. Setup

  1. Unfold the Ladder: Carefully open the ladder until both sections are fully extended and the spreaders are locked into place. Ensure the ladder forms a stable 'A' shape.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Ascending: Face the ladder and use both hands to grip the side rails. Climb one step at a time, maintaining three points of contact.
  2. Working Position: Position yourself centrally on the ladder. Do not lean too far to either side. If an object is out of reach, descend and reposition the ladder.
  3. Descending: Face the ladder and use both hands to grip the side rails. Descend one step at a time, maintaining three points of contact.
  4. Maximum Reach: The maximum safe working height for a person of 1.67 m (5'6") tall using this ladder is approximately 3 m (10').

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the ladder regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Ensure all steps and feet are free of dirt, grease, or other slippery substances.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all rivets, bolts, and hinges for tightness and damage. Ensure the non-slip feet are intact and not worn.
