Installation and Use

1. Plug Protectors (40 pieces)

These protectors are designed to prevent children from accessing unused electrical outlets. Their smooth, non-grip design and opaque color help them blend in and deter curious hands.

  • Installation: Insert the plug protector firmly into any unused electrical socket.
  • Removal: To remove, insert your fingernail or a small, flat object under the edge of the protector and pull it out.

2. Grip 'n Twist Door Knob Covers (6 pieces)

These covers are designed to prevent young children from opening doors while allowing adults easy access. They are suitable for standard round doorknobs.

  • Assembly: Align the interlocking tabs of the two halves of the cover and click them together around the doorknob.
  • Operation: To open the door, grip the doorknob through the holes in the cover and turn. The cover will spin freely if not gripped correctly, preventing a child from turning the knob.

3. Cabinet & Drawer Latches (30 pieces)

These latches are installed inside cabinets and drawers to keep contents secure from curious children. They require adult assembly and installation.

  • Installation: Position the catch on the upper frame at the center of the drawer space with the curved edge facing out. Mark screw hole positions with a pencil. Pre-drill screw holes for the catch (3/8 inch / 0.9 cm deep). Screw the catch into place. Repeat for the latch on the drawer. Ensure there is a 1.5-inch gap when the drawer is opened for the latch to engage.
  • Operation: To open a latched cabinet or drawer, press down on the latch with your finger to disengage it.

4. Cabinet Slide Locks (4 pieces)

These locks are designed for side-by-side cabinets with handles or knobs, preventing access to both doors simultaneously.

  • Installation: Slide the lock around the handles or knobs of two adjacent cabinet doors. Adjust the length to fit snugly.
  • Operation: To open, pinch the sides of the lock to release the mechanism and slide it off the handles/knobs.

  • Plug Protector is loose: Ensure the plug protector is fully inserted into the outlet. If the outlet is worn, the protector may not fit securely. Consider replacing the outlet or using a different type of cover.
