4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Locate the battery compartment on the camera.
- Insert the included Lithium Ion battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment securely.
- Connect the camera to a USB power source using the provided USB charging cable. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
- A full charge typically takes approximately 3 hours.
4.2. Micro SD Card Insertion
- The AEE S60 Plus supports Micro SD cards up to 64GB (Class 10 or higher recommended for optimal performance).
- With the camera powered off, open the Micro SD card slot cover.
- Insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.
4.3. Attaching the LCD Screen
The 2-inch TFT LCD screen is detachable. Align the connectors on the screen with the corresponding port on the back of the camera and gently push until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button (if present) and slide the screen off.
4.4. Using the Waterproof Housing
The included IP68 waterproof housing allows the camera to be used underwater up to 131 feet (40 meters).
- Ensure the camera is clean and dry before placing it inside the housing.
- Open the latch on the waterproof housing and carefully insert the camera.
- Close the latch firmly, ensuring a tight seal.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Powering On/Off
- To power on: Press and hold the power/mode button (green button on the front) for a few seconds until the indicator lights illuminate and the screen turns on.
- To power off: Press and hold the power/mode button again until the camera shuts down.
5.2. Mode Selection
Briefly press the power/mode button to cycle through different modes: Video Recording, Photo Capture, Burst Photo, and Time-Lapse. The current mode will be displayed on the LCD screen.
5.3. Recording Video / Capturing Photos
- In Video Recording mode, press the Shutter/OK button (top button) to start recording. Press again to stop.
- In Photo Capture mode, press the Shutter/OK button to take a single photo.
- For Burst Shooting, select the Burst mode and press the Shutter/OK button. The camera will capture multiple photos in quick succession (up to 8 photos/sec).
- For Time-Lapse, select the Time-Lapse mode and configure the interval settings in the menu. Press the Shutter/OK button to start/stop.
5.4. Wi-Fi Connectivity and Mobile App
