Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Solution |
|---|---|
| No dial tone | Ensure the telephone line cord is securely plugged into both the base unit and the wall jack. Check if the power adapter is connected to the base unit and a working electrical outlet. |
| Handset display is blank | Place the handset on its charging base. Ensure the battery is properly installed and charged. If the problem persists, the battery may need replacement. |
| Poor call quality or static | Move the handset closer to the main base unit. Avoid placing the base unit near other electronic devices that may cause interference (e.g., microwaves, Wi-Fi routers). Check the telephone line cord for damage. |
| Cannot make or receive calls | Verify that your telephone service is active. Check all connections (power, telephone line). Ensure the handset is registered to the base unit. |
| Short battery life | Ensure the handset is fully charged for 16 hours before initial use. If the battery is old, it may need to be replaced. |
