Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Delta Essa Brushed Nickel Kitchen Faucet with Pull Down Sprayer. Please read this manual thoroughly before beginning installation or use to ensure proper function and longevity of your faucet.
The Delta Essa faucet features advanced technologies designed for durability and convenience:
- DIAMOND Seal Technology: Engineered to reduce leak points and ensure leak-free operation, lasting twice as long as the industry standard.
- MagnaTite Docking: A powerful integrated magnet securely holds the spray wand in place when not in use, preventing drooping over time.
- Touch-Clean Spray Holes: Allows for easy removal of calcium and lime build-up from the spray face with a simple wipe of a finger.
- Corrosion-Resistant Finish: Brilliance finishes are tested for corrosion resistance to exceed industry standards.
Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure you have all necessary tools and components as listed in the packaging. It is recommended to consult a professional plumber if you are unsure about any steps.
This faucet is designed for single-hole installations but includes an optional deck plate for 1 or 3-hole 8-inch center installations. The gasket seal helps prevent drips and splashes from leaking under the faucet.

Operating Instructions
Your Delta Essa faucet is designed for ease of use and versatility.
Water Flow and Temperature Control
The single handle controls both water flow and temperature. Lift the handle to increase water flow and move it left for hot water or right for cold water.

Pull-Down Sprayer and MagnaTite Docking
The integrated pull-down sprayer provides extended reach for various kitchen tasks. Simply pull the spray wand down from the spout. When finished, the MagnaTite Docking system uses a powerful magnet to snap the spray wand precisely back into place, ensuring it stays securely docked.

Spray or Stream Function
The spray wand offers two distinct water patterns: a focused stream for filling and a powerful spray for rinsing. A button on the spray head allows you to easily switch between these modes.

Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will help preserve the finish and functionality of your Delta Essa faucet.
Cleaning the Finish
To clean the Arctic Stainless finish, use a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. Wipe dry with a soft cloth to prevent water spots.
Cleaning Touch-Clean Spray Holes
The Touch-Clean spray holes are designed for easy maintenance. If mineral deposits build up, simply wipe the rubber nozzles on the spray face with your finger to dislodge them. This helps maintain optimal spray performance.

DIAMOND Seal Technology
The patented DIAMOND Seal Technology is designed for long-term, leak-free operation, reducing the need for frequent internal maintenance.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your faucet, try the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Low Water Flow: Check if the aerator or spray holes are clogged with debris or mineral deposits. Clean the Touch-Clean spray holes as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure water supply valves under the sink are fully open.
- Leaking: Verify all connections are tight. If leaks persist from the handle or spout, it may indicate an issue with internal components. Refer to the installation manual or contact customer support.
- Sprayer Not Docking Properly: Ensure no obstructions are preventing the spray wand from fully retracting. Check the weight on the hose under the sink to ensure it is positioned correctly and not snagged. The MagnaTite docking system should provide a secure hold.
- Difficulty Switching Spray Modes: Clean the spray holes to ensure no debris is interfering with the button mechanism.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact Delta customer support.
