Important Safety Instructions

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all parts are present.
- Clean: Before first use, clean the removable parts (bean hopper lid, ground coffee container) with warm, soapy water. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly.
- Assemble:
- Place the ground coffee container into its designated slot on the front of the grinder.
- Ensure the bean hopper is securely in place on top of the unit.
- Close the transparent lid firmly. The safety mechanism prevents operation if the lid is not correctly closed.
- Placement: Position the grinder on a stable, flat, and dry surface, away from water sources and heat.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220V).
Operating Instructions
- Add Coffee Beans: Open the bean hopper lid and pour the desired amount of whole coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill. The maximum capacity is 60 grams.
- Select Grind Fineness: Turn the grind selector dial to your desired setting (Fine, Medium, Coarse). Refer to the "Grind Settings" section for guidance.

- Set Grinding Time: Turn the timer dial to select the desired grinding duration, up to 60 seconds. Alternatively, use the "PULSE" setting for manual control.

- Start Grinding: Press the power button (located in the center of the timer dial) to start the grinding process. The grinder will operate for the set duration or as long as the pulse button is held.
- Collect Ground Coffee: Once grinding is complete, carefully remove the ground coffee container from the front of the unit.
- Unplug: Always unplug the grinder after use.
Grind Settings
The MPM MMK-05 offers 17 levels of grind fineness to suit various coffee brewing methods. Experiment to find your preferred setting.

Note: Adjusting the grind setting while the grinder is operating or with beans in the hopper may cause damage to the burrs. It is recommended to adjust the setting when the grinder is empty and off.
Timer Function
The integrated timer allows for automatic grinding for up to 60 seconds. Turn the timer dial clockwise to select the desired duration. The grinder will automatically stop once the set time has elapsed.
For manual control, turn the dial to the "PULSE" setting. The grinder will operate only while the power button is pressed and held. This is useful for small adjustments or quick grinds.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your coffee grinder.
- Unplug: Always unplug the grinder from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Empty: Remove any remaining coffee beans from the hopper and discard any ground coffee from the container.
- Disassemble: Remove the ground coffee container and the bean hopper lid.

- Clean Removable Parts: Wash the ground coffee container and the bean hopper lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling. These parts are generally not dishwasher safe.
- Clean Burr Grinders: Use a small brush (often supplied with grinders, or a stiff brush) to remove coffee grounds from the burr grinding mechanism. You can also use a vacuum cleaner with a narrow attachment to remove stubborn particles. Do not use water directly on the burrs.
- Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Reassemble: Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling. Securely place the bean hopper and ground coffee container back into position.
