Setup

The FPP-1 tool requires minimal setup before use.

Operating Instructions

Using the Puller Function (Filter Removal)

  1. Extend the telescoping shaft to the appropriate length to reach the air filter. Ensure all sections are securely locked into place.
  2. Carefully position the serrated jaw of the gripper head around the edge of the air filter.
  3. Apply gentle pressure to ensure a secure grip on the filter.
  4. With a steady motion, carefully pull the filter out of its housing. Avoid sudden jerks that could damage the filter or housing.
  5. Retract the tool and safely dispose of the old filter.

Using the Pusher Function (Filter Installation)

  1. Extend the telescoping shaft to the appropriate length.
  2. Place the flat surface of the tool's head against the edge of the new air filter.
  3. Gently guide the filter into its housing, applying even pressure.
  4. Ensure the filter is securely seated and properly aligned within the housing.
  5. Retract the tool once the filter is installed.
