1. Important Safety Information

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Hangsun HOC200 Water Flosser for first use.

1. Unpack the Unit: Remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: main unit, handle, water tank, and various tips.
2. Place the Unit: Place the water flosser on a flat, stable surface near an electrical outlet and a sink.
3. Fill the Water Tank: Lift the hinged lid of the water tank. Fill the tank with lukewarm water. You may also add mouthwash as recommended by your dentist. Close the lid securely.
4. Insert a Tip: Select the desired tip and insert it into the hole in the center of the handle until it clicks into place. To remove a tip, press the tip eject button on the handle and pull the tip out.
5. Prime the Unit (First Use Only): Before first use, or if the unit has not been used for a long time, prime it. Set the pressure dial to the highest setting. Direct the tip into the sink. Turn the unit ON until water flows from the tip. Then turn it OFF.

4. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for effective daily use of your water flosser.

1. Adjust Pressure Setting: Rotate the pressure dial on the base of the unit to your desired setting. Start with a lower setting (1-3) and gradually increase as you become accustomed to the water jet.
2. Position the Tip: Lean over the sink and place the tip in your mouth, aiming the water jet at your gumline at a 90-degree angle.
3. Turn On the Unit: Press the ON/OFF switch on the base of the unit. Keep your mouth slightly open to allow water to flow into the sink.
4. Flossing Technique: Guide the tip along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. Floss both the front and back surfaces of your teeth.
5. Use the Pause Button: Press the pause button on the handle to temporarily stop the water flow without turning off the unit. Release to resume.
6. Complete Flossing: Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth or the water tank is empty.
7. Turn Off the Unit: Press the ON/OFF switch on the base to turn off the unit.
8. Empty Remaining Water: After each use, empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent bacterial growth.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your water flosser.

Daily Cleaning

• Empty Water Tank: After each use, empty any remaining water from the tank.
• Rinse Tank: Rinse the water tank with clean water.
• Wipe Unit: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
• Rinse Tips: Rinse the used tip under running water.

Weekly Cleaning

• Clean Water Tank: Remove the water tank from the base. Clean it with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
• Clean Tips: For a deeper clean, soak tips in a solution of 2 parts water to 1 part white vinegar for 5-7 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
• Clean Internal Parts: Fill the water tank with 2 parts water and 1 part white vinegar. Run the unit until the tank is empty to clean internal components. Rinse by running a full tank of clean water through the unit.

Storage

When not in use, store the unit in a cool, dry place. Ensure the water tank is empty and clean. Store tips in the covered tip storage compartment.
