Safety Information
Your Avalon water cooler is designed with safety in mind. Please read and follow all safety instructions carefully before use.
Child Safety Lock:
The hot water spout is equipped with a child safety lock to prevent accidental dispensing of hot water. To dispense hot water, you must first press the small red button located on top of the hot water paddle, and then push the paddle itself. This two-step process ensures safety, especially around children.

UL Listed and Energy Star Compliant:
The water cooler is UL Listed, ensuring it meets rigorous safety standards. It also complies with all Energy Star standards for energy efficiency.
Setup
- Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the water cooler from its packaging.
- Positioning: Place the dispenser on a flat, stable surface in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Install Water Bottle: Remove the cap from a 3 or 5-gallon water bottle. Carefully lift the bottle and place it onto the top-loading receptacle of the dispenser. The built-in puncture rod will pierce the bottle cap, allowing water to flow into the internal reservoir.
- Initial Fill: Allow the internal tanks to fill completely. This may take a few minutes. Dispense a few cups of water from both hot and cold spouts to prime the system and remove any air. Discard this initial water.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Activate Heating/Cooling: Locate the power switches on the back of the unit. There are separate switches for hot and cold water functions. Turn them ON as desired. The indicator lights on the front will illuminate when the heating/cooling elements are active.
