- Drill
- Drill bit (appropriate size for M4 screws, typically 3/16" or 5mm)
- Measuring tape or ruler
- Pencil or marker
- Screwdriver (Phillips head)
- Cabinet hardware jig (recommended for accuracy)
4.2 Installation Steps
- Determine Placement: Decide on the desired location for your pull on the cabinet door or drawer. For pulls, the center-to-center measurement is crucial. This pull has a center-to-center distance of 8-13/16 inches (224mm).

- Mark Drilling Points: Using a measuring tape or a cabinet hardware jig, accurately mark the two drilling points on the cabinet surface. Ensure the distance between these two points is exactly 8-13/16 inches (224mm).
- Drill Holes: Carefully drill pilot holes at the marked points. Use a drill bit appropriate for M4 screws. Drill straight through the cabinet material to avoid splintering.
- Attach the Pull: Align the pull with the drilled holes. Insert the M4 screws from the inside of the cabinet door or drawer and thread them into the pull.

- Tighten Screws: Using a Phillips head screwdriver, gently tighten the screws until the pull is secure. Do not overtighten, as this can strip the threads or damage the cabinet material.
- Verify Stability: Once installed, gently pull on the handle to ensure it is firmly attached and does not wobble.

5. Maintenance
To maintain the finish and appearance of your Top Knobs pull:
- Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes, as these can damage the Brushed Satin Nickel finish.
- Periodically check the tightness of the mounting screws and retighten if necessary.
6. Troubleshooting
- Pull feels loose after installation:
Ensure the M4 screws are fully engaged and tightened. If the holes in the cabinet are too large, consider using a larger washer on the inside of the cabinet or a different screw size if compatible.
- Difficulty threading screws:
Verify that the drill bit used for the pilot holes is the correct size (typically 3/16" or 5mm for M4 screws). Ensure the pull is perfectly aligned with the holes before attempting to thread the screws.
