This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, and maintenance of your new key finder.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The CR2032 batteries for the receivers are typically pre-installed. If replacement is needed, gently open the receiver casing using a small flat tool or coin at the designated slot. Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Close the casing securely.

The transmitter requires 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the transmitter and insert the batteries according to the polarity markings. Close the compartment.

2. Attaching Receivers to Items

The Esky Key Finder offers two primary methods for attaching the receivers to your items:

• Key Rings: Use the provided key rings to attach receivers to keys, zippers on bags, pet collars, or other items with a loop.
• Hook-and-Loop Stickers: For items without a loop, such as remote controls or wallets, use the included hook-and-loop stickers. Peel off the adhesive backing from one side of the sticker and firmly press it onto the back of the receiver. Then, peel off the adhesive backing from the other side and attach the receiver to your desired item. Blank adhesive labels are also provided for custom labeling.

Receivers can be attached using key rings or hook-and-loop stickers for versatile use on various items.

Operating Instructions

Locating Lost Items

To locate a lost item, simply press the corresponding color-coded button on the transmitter. The receiver attached to your item will emit a loud 85dB beeping sound and its LED light will flash, guiding you to its location.

Press the button on the transmitter to activate the beeping sound on the corresponding receiver.

Range and Signal

The Esky Key Finder utilizes advanced RF technology, allowing it to track items up to 131 feet (40 meters) in open spaces. The signal can penetrate through walls, doors, and furniture, making it effective for locating items within your home or office. Note that obstacles may slightly reduce the sound volume.

The key finder offers a tracking distance of 98-131 feet with a loud 70-85dB beep.

Using the LED Flashlight

The transmitter is equipped with a built-in LED flashlight. This feature is useful for locating items in low-light environments or for general illumination when searching in dark corners or under furniture.

The transmitter includes a convenient LED flashlight for use in dark areas.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

The CR2032 batteries in the receivers are designed for long-lasting use (6-12 months for regular use). When the sound from a receiver becomes faint or stops, it's time to replace its battery. Follow the instructions in the "Setup" section for battery replacement.

The transmitter's AAA batteries should be replaced when the buttons do not respond or the LED flashlight dims. Ensure to use fresh 1.5V AAA batteries.

Cleaning

Wipe the transmitter and receivers with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface.

Troubleshooting

Receiver Not Beeping

• Check the battery: Ensure the CR2032 battery is correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
• Check range: You might be out of the 131ft (40m) operating range. Move closer to the item.
• Obstructions: Dense walls or metal objects can interfere with the signal. Try moving to a more open area.

Transmitter Not Working

• Check AAA batteries: Ensure the AAA batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
• Button press: Ensure you are pressing the button firmly and for a sufficient duration.
