5. Operating Instructions

The bed is operated using the hand control. The single motor and junction box are self-contained for quiet operation.

  • Hand Control: Use the buttons on the hand control to adjust the head and foot sections of the bed to the desired position.
  • Power Failure Backup: In the event of a power failure, a 9-volt battery located in the motor provides emergency power. This battery can lower the head and foot sections up to nine times. Replace the 9V battery periodically to ensure functionality.
