Setup

1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials from the carton. Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a broken door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged.

2. Placement

Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface, such as a kitchen countertop. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space around the oven:

  • Minimum 20 cm (7.9 inches) of free space above the oven.
  • Minimum 10 cm (3.9 inches) of free space at the rear and sides.

3. Turntable Installation

Place the roller ring in the center of the oven cavity. Place the glass turntable on top of the roller ring, ensuring it sits securely in the center hub.

4. Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the appliance's requirements (230 Volts).

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The control panel consists of a digital display, function buttons, and a rotary dial for setting time and power.

  • MODE Button: Selects cooking modes (e.g., Microwave, Grill, Combination).
  • +30Sec Button: Adds 30 seconds of cooking time at full power.
  • MENU Buttons (A1-A8): Direct access to 8 pre-set cooking programs.
  • Clock/Timer Button: Sets the clock or timer.
  • Auto/Rotary Dial: Used to adjust time, weight, or select auto-cook options. Press to confirm selection.

Basic Microwave Cooking

  1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
  2. Close the oven door securely.
  3. Press the MODE button repeatedly to select the desired microwave power level (e.g., P100 for full power, P80, P60, P40, P20).
  4. Turn the Auto/Rotary Dial to set the cooking time. The maximum timer setting is 95 minutes.
  5. Press the Auto/Rotary Dial to start cooking.

Defrosting

The oven offers defrosting by time and by weight.

  • Defrost by Time: Select the defrost mode (usually indicated by a snowflake icon or specific menu option), then use the dial to set the desired defrosting time.
  • Defrost by Weight: Select the defrost mode, then use the dial to input the weight of the food. The oven will automatically calculate the defrosting time.

Using Pre-set Programs (A1-A8)

The microwave oven comes with 8 pre-set programs for common food items. Refer to the icons on the control panel for specific program functions.

  1. Place the food in the oven.
  2. Press the corresponding MENU button (A1-A8) for the desired program.
  3. The display will show the recommended weight or portion. Adjust if necessary using the Auto/Rotary Dial.
  4. Press the Auto/Rotary Dial to start the program.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning of your microwave oven will ensure its longevity and efficient operation.

Cleaning the Interior

  • After each use, wipe the interior with a damp cloth to remove any food splatters.
  • For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and heat for 2-3 minutes until steam fills the oven. This will loosen food particles, making them easier to wipe away.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads, as they can damage the interior surface.

Cleaning the Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Clean the control panel gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid excessive moisture.

Cleaning the Turntable and Roller Ring

  • Remove the glass turntable and roller ring.
  • Wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher.
  • Dry thoroughly before placing them back in the oven.
