1. Setup

1.1 Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the scale for any signs of damage during transit. If any damage is found, do not use the scale and contact your supplier immediately.

1.2 Placement

Place the scale on a stable, level, and vibration-free surface. Avoid locations with direct sunlight, extreme temperature fluctuations, or strong air currents (e.g., near air conditioning vents), as these can affect weighing accuracy.

1.3 Power Supply

The scale can be powered by the integrated battery or via the included 230 V plug-in power adapter. The integrated battery provides up to 70 hours of operation and features a charging function when connected to the power adapter.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Power On/Off

2.2 Basic Weighing

  1. Ensure the scale is powered on and the display shows "0.000 kg" or "0.0 g".
  2. Place the item to be weighed directly onto the weighing platform.
  3. Read the weight displayed on the screen.

2.3 Tare Function (T)

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so only the net weight of the contents is measured.

  1. Place the empty container on the weighing platform.
  2. Press the T (Tare) button. The display will reset to "0.000 kg" (or "0.0 g"), indicating the container's weight has been tared.
  3. Add the items to be weighed into the container. The display will show the net weight of the items.
  4. To clear the tare, remove the container from the platform and press the T button again, or power cycle the scale.

2.4 Zero Function (→0←)

The zero function is used to reset the display to zero when there is a small amount of residual weight on the platform or if the display drifts slightly from zero.

2.5 Counting Function

This function allows you to count a large number of identical items by weighing a sample.

  1. Place a known quantity of items (e.g., 10, 20, 50, 100) on the platform as a sample.
  2. Access the counting mode (refer to the scale's specific button, often labeled PCS or similar, or a menu option).
  3. Input the sample quantity. The scale will calculate the average piece weight.
  4. Add the remaining items to be counted. The display will show the total count.

2.6 Summing Function

The summing function allows you to accumulate the weights of multiple items or batches.

  1. Weigh the first item.
  2. Press the M+ (Memory Plus) or SUM button to add the weight to the total.
  3. Remove the item and place the next item to be weighed.
  4. Repeat step 2 and 3 for all items.
  5. To view the total sum, press the MR (Memory Recall) or TOTAL button.

2.7 Checking Function

This function is used for checking if an item's weight falls within a predefined target range (checkweighing).

  1. Enter the target weight and tolerance limits (upper and lower bounds) into the scale's settings.
  2. Place an item on the platform.
  3. The scale will indicate if the item is "under," "over," or "within" the target range, often with visual or audible alerts.

2.8 Hold Function

The hold function allows the displayed weight to be frozen on the screen, even after the item is removed from the platform. This is useful for weighing large or awkwardly shaped items that might obscure the display.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning

To maintain accuracy and prolong the life of your scale, regular cleaning is recommended.

3.2 Battery Care

The integrated battery is designed for long-term use. To maximize battery life:
