3. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the performance and longevity of your washing machine.
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Inspect the machine for any transit damage. Remove the transport bolts from the rear of the machine before use. Keep the transport bolts for future transport of the appliance.
3.2 Placement and Leveling
Place the washing machine on a stable, level floor. Use a spirit level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Adjust the feet at the bottom of the machine to achieve proper leveling. An unlevel machine can cause excessive vibration and noise during operation.
3.3 Water Connection
Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4" thread. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks. The inlet hose length is 1.55 m.
3.4 Drainage
Position the drain hose into a standpipe or secure it to a sink. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked, allowing for proper water discharge.
3.5 Electrical Connection
Plug the washing machine into a grounded electrical outlet. The appliance operates on 230V AC. Ensure the electrical supply is adequate for the connected load of 2400 W.
3.6 Initial Run
Before washing laundry, perform an initial run without laundry to clean the drum and internal components. Select a short wash program at a high temperature (e.g., Cotton 60°C) and add a small amount of detergent.

5. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your washing machine.
5.1 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
Periodically remove the detergent dispenser drawer and rinse it under running water to remove any detergent residue. Use a brush if necessary to clean stubborn deposits.
5.2 Cleaning the Drum
Run a maintenance wash cycle (e.g., a hot cotton wash without laundry) regularly, especially if you frequently wash at low temperatures. This helps prevent odors and mold buildup.
5.3 Cleaning the Drain Filter
The drain filter, located behind the small access panel at the bottom front of the machine, should be cleaned regularly to prevent blockages. Place a shallow container under the filter to catch any residual water. Unscrew the filter slowly, remove any lint or foreign objects, and then screw it back in securely.

If the machine is to be stored in an area where temperatures may drop below freezing, drain all water from the hoses and pump to prevent damage from freezing. Consult a qualified technician if unsure.
6. Troubleshooting
Before contacting service, try these solutions for common issues.
