Installation Guide

Installing a 2.5-inch SATA Drive

1. Gently slide open the enclosure cover.
2. Connect your 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD to the SATA connector inside the enclosure. Ensure the connection is firm.

Operation

Connecting to a Computer

1. Connect one end of the supplied USB 3.0 cable to the USB 3.0 port on the Fantec DB-229U3-6G enclosure.
2. Connect the other end of the USB 3.0 cable to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer.
3. The LED indicator on the enclosure will illuminate, indicating power. It will blink during data access.
