Setup Instructions
- Install Batteries: Insert 2 AAA batteries into each of the three units (receiver and two senders). Ensure correct polarity.
- Position Units: Place the receiver and the two light beam sender units up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) apart to create your desired laser barrier. The units can be adjusted up to 360 degrees to customize the trap's layout.

Operating Instructions
Selecting Alert Mode:
The SpyX Lazer Trap Alarm offers two alert modes:
- Sound Alert: When the invisible beam is broken, the alarm will emit an audible sound.
- Flashing Light Alert: When the invisible beam is broken, the alarm will activate a silent flashing light.
To switch between modes, locate the mode selection switch on the receiver unit and select your preferred alert type.
Activating the Trap:
Once the units are positioned and the beams are aligned, turn on all units. The system is now active. Any movement that breaks the invisible infrared beam will trigger the selected alert mode.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the units with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all 6 AAA batteries when the unit's performance diminishes or the lights/sounds become weak. Always use fresh batteries.
- Storage: Store the units in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
Troubleshooting
- Units not turning on:
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed with proper polarity.
- Replace with fresh AAA batteries.
- Alarm not triggering:
- Verify that the light beams from the senders are directly aligned with the receiver. Adjust the angle of the units as needed.
- Check the distance between units; they should be no more than 4 feet apart for optimal performance.
- Ensure the chosen alert mode (sound or flashing light) is correctly selected.
- Weak or inconsistent alert:
- Replace all batteries in the units.
- Ensure no obstructions are partially blocking the infrared beams.
