Setup
1. Charging the Headset
Before first use, fully charge your Explorer 500 headset. Use the provided USB charging cable to connect the headset to a power source.

2. Pairing with a Device
To pair your headset with a smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device:
- Turn on the headset by sliding the power switch.
- Activate Bluetooth on your device.
- Select "PLT_E500" from the list of available devices.
- If prompted, enter the passcode "0000" (four zeros).
The headset will confirm successful pairing.
3. Earpiece Adjustment
The Explorer 500 comes with multiple earpiece sizes (small, medium, large) to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. Choose the size that best fits your ear. The microphone boom is ergonomic and can be adjusted for optimal voice pickup.
Operation
Power On/Off
Slide the dedicated power switch located on the back of the headset to turn it on or off.
Volume Control
Use the volume up and down buttons on the headset to adjust the audio level during calls or media playback.
Call Management
- Answer/End Call: Press the Call button once.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds.
- Redial: Double-press the Call button.
- Voice Commands: Press and hold the Call button to activate your smartphone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).
Ambidextrous Design
The headset features an ambidextrous design, allowing you to wear it comfortably on either your right or left ear by simply flipping the microphone boom.
Maintenance

Troubleshooting
No Power

Cannot Pair

Poor Audio Quality

- Ensure the earpiece is properly seated in your ear.
